Weather or Not

Weather has come to a noticeable change within the last couple of decades and we all think or blame that it is because Global Warming or a drastic change in our living habits. What if it is just the earth working other means so it can maintain it’s survival of sustaining life.
We base how the weather is going to be on Farmers Almanac and foresee how we’ll adjust to the coming weather, yes we have come this far and things are so close to the predictions but what if the calendar is wrong and the earth has shifted to have December weather turn into October weather and February and March to be the cold winter months instead. The current calendar was created as a guide to guesstimate how the coming days will be. Maybe we should recreate a new calendar to compensate these changes as we still look into the whole in the ozone and the melting of the ice caps.

Smartphones, dumb people

Cell phones have become easier to buy or subscribe to under a contract or provider, pending on when are where you get your phone it could be inexpensive or many years locked into a contract.
The funny thing about that is that phones have become so cheap to make that it costs more to get them repaired or updated, the easier thing that will happen is that it will just get replaced with a new phone of the same model.
Now this is good and convenient to those who don’t have a Smartphone or Blackberry, but to those who do…
Always back up your files and Sync your Smartphone’s since it is a personal computer and should be treated like such (as most of you know that hardly ever happens since it’s main function is that it’s a cell phone and so still treated as one).
And yes it will die if drowned in water, so keep your phones safe and synced.

Electronic Force

Music has changed so much over the decades that sounds have been recorded and also re-recorded as an added sound to the music (sampling).
I think that music has become stale or over produced.
Well almost all music styles or genres, one of them that keeps re-inventing itself is electronic music. I use the terminology of electronic music as whole and not just one style and it would be the upbeat 4-on-the-floor dance electronic music, since the dawn of disco electronic music has been an influence on pop culture or visa versa, once people think it leaves it comes back and prevails as a sound everyone hears.
What I really like about electronic music is that it’s still young and has so much heart, even if a vocal sample is taken from an old song, it is re-created to sound new again or even new entirely. One place that you will always find electronic music is in Night Clubs, being blasted loudly.

iPod vs. iDon't

In this day an age of portable music players who doesn’t have an iPod?
Well that person would be me, I’m not one to fall suit to the best and easiest way to play my music.
This could be due to the fact that I understand the meaning of quality sound over quantity and this is also the reason why I’ve bought myself high end headphones.
iPod is a brand of portable media players designed and marketed by Apple Inc. and launched on October 23, 2001. The product line-up includes the hard drive-based iPod Classic, the touchscreen iPod Touch, the video-capable iPod Nano, and the screenless iPod Shuffle. The iPhone can function as an iPod but is generally treated as a separate product.
Just like my separate product, my HTC Touch phone, it’s my right hand assistant (so to say) and also acts as my main portable music player with a faster file transfer and high quality sound. In the end I will always choose quality over quantity.

Sad Times

A legacy is coming to an end on www.nr92.com and that legacy that I’m talking about is "THE DJ ZONE" The DJ Zone took you into the world of club life with DJ mixes, Mash-Ups, New Tracks, Remixes, and everything in between.
Mixed by DJ Hooligan, DJ Madd Katt, DJ Enigma, DJ Spectrum and The Drug. This is one of those shows that kept you tune in and just keep listening to, from start to finish.
The DJ Zone has brought you into the world of Club music and Remixes for 5 semesters (circa October 2006 – December 2008), but will it end there… the show that is, who knows?

I will keep you posted though for sure or you can check out the FACEBOOK Group page: The DJ Zone
The Mixes will also available online via the facebook group, the reason why the show has come to an end on NR92 is I am finished school at NAIT and will now be living in Calgary, AB. So to all that live in Cow-town, it will be my pleasure to join all ya’ll in the New Year.

Yes No Maybe

I've noticed that a lot of FACEBOOK users don't read events that are sent to them fully, they will either just ignore the posted event till it has passed or say Maybe just to act like they are doing the event poster a service.

Or they seem to do quite the opposite and click Yes right away and totally forget about the event entirely, or just forget to read what the event was or is about.

No, well that one’s easy, at least with those people you know that they don’t want anything to do with the event but what I don’t understand is why still be added to the group if you never say Yes or Maybe to an event invitation ? Wow people and the internet…

Cartoons are fun

I was over at the Cineplex theatre on the Southside in the South Common Shopping Center to watch Bolt in REALD, it's the 21st century take on the old fashion 3D. I've always thought that watching cartoons on the big screen was cool, it could be because I haven't passed that age to let go of cartoons for myself or watch cartoons only because I have kid(s). To get back to the movie Bolt starring John Travolta and Millie Cyrus, I thought that having the chance to watch it REALD was a better choice than to watch it in just plain film. It really made the movie come to life; the couple of extra bucks for a pair of REALD glass were worth it and now only if all movies were made this way. If all movies don't change to this field of another dimension and it just stays to only doing cartoons then I'm fine with that.
